23/04/12 : SENSORS FOR ECOLOGY - Towards integrated knowledge of ecosystems

A book published by CNRS/InEE, edited by Jean-François Le Gaillard, Jean-Marc Guarini and Françoise Gaill is just coming. It presents an overwview of sensors in the field of animal behaviour and physiology, biodiversity and ecosystems.

One article of this book, written by Jérôme Chave, Philippe Gaucher et Maël Dewynter, concern tropical rainforest environmental sensors at the Nouragues experimental station, French Guiana.

03/02/12 : 2012 CNRS Cristal awards : and a winner is.. Philppe Gaucher.

M. Philippe Gaucher, chief engineer of Nouragues scientific station is one of 17 winners of the 2012 CNRS Cristal award. This prize rewards each year, among CNRS administrative and technical staff, those of them who have contributed remarkably, by their skill, in advance of science.

27/05/11 - New issue of the Regulation document at the Nouragues Scientific Station

The Regulation document of the Nouragues Scientific Station is due to be signed before any coming at the station for a scientific purpose (medium-time and long-time stays).

This document contains precisions about life condition at the station and security. It enclose a schedule about malaria, which is due to be signed too.
